01. The challenge

Our client faced a complex challenge: the migration of their blogging environment, which was previously managed by external software. This process was technically demanding and required careful planning to ensure that SEO value was maintained and usability did not deteriorate.

An additional challenge was that the company’s main domain was running on a different CMS than the system on which the blog would be migrated, causing significant technical and operational complications.

This discrepancy between the CMS systems required deep technical understanding and a coordinated approach to ensure seamless integration. The success of the migration depended on our team’s ability to develop and implement detailed migration protocols, and carefully monitor content integrity, SEO rankings, and user experience.

This process included extensive preparation, testing, and ongoing post-migration optimisation to ensure the performance of the new blog environment.

In December 2022, our client’s blog environment registered 514 organic visitors per day. Due to the strategic implementations carried out in the intervening period, this number increased significantly to 1,385 organic visitors per day in April 2024. This shows an impressive increase of 169%.
